If you’d like to talk to a past client directly, ask on the phone. We have several clients in West Hartford, Avon and Simsbury who have offered to take calls from prospective homeowners. We’ll connect you if you want a real conversation about working with us.
Why we ask for reviews after every project
Every project we finish, we ask the homeowner if they’d be willing to leave a review somewhere public. Not because we need the volume (we get plenty of work from referrals alone) but because honest reviews from real homeowners are the only thing that protects future clients from making a bad contractor choice.
Hartford County has plenty of landscape contractors. Some are excellent. Some are mediocre. Some are actively bad. Reading reviews is one of the few honest ways a homeowner can tell the difference before they sign a contract. We want to make sure ours are out there because it helps homeowners make the right call, even if that call isn’t us.
Why some contractors don’t have many reviews
If a contractor has been in business for ten years and only has six reviews online, that’s a signal worth noting. It usually means one of two things: they’re not asking, or they’re asking and not getting them. Both are signals.
Why the perfect five-star contractor doesn’t exist
We have a 4.8 on Facebook because there’s one homeowner who left a 4-star review years ago saying the project took two days longer than originally promised. They didn’t complain about the work. They complained about the timeline. That’s fair feedback and we own it. A perfect-five contractor with thousands of reviews and zero criticism is statistically improbable and worth scrutinizing for fake reviews.
